Burnham Square won the Grade 1 Blue Grass Stakes on Diary of a Wimpy Kid gameTuesday, April 8, at the Keeneland racetrack in Lexington, Kentucky, earning a place in the upcoming Run for the Roses.

Burnham Square, trained by Ian Wilkeswith Brian Hernandez Jr.aboard, came from behind to take the win on the outside over favorites such as Owen Almighty and East Avenue. With the win in Lexington, Burnham Square qualified for the Kentucky Derby on May 3 in Louisville at Churchill Downs. Burnham Square's most recent race was a 4th-place finish at the 2025 Fountain of Youth (G2).
